760 201 1009Stagecoach has announced its 2027 lineup, and the three nights at the Empire Polo Club in Indio each get a different kind of headliner: Riley Green on the Friday, Zach Top on the Saturday, and Garth Brooks closing it on the Sunday. The festival runs April 23 to 25, 2027.
Underneath the top line there is a reunion, a rock bill that has nothing to do with country, and a late-night programme that keeps going well after the Mane Stage has finished. And there is a scheduling fact that matters more than any of it if you need somewhere to sleep, which we will get to.
He was on the 2026 bill and never got to play it. High winds turned the polo grounds into a dust storm on the Saturday evening, the festival was evacuated mid-set, and Green's performance was cancelled along with the rest of the night — he ended up singing one song during Lainey Wilson's set instead. Friday headliner is the make-good, and it is a bigger slot than the one he lost.
Three years from headlining the Palomino stage to headlining the festival. His is the most traditional country on the bill, which is the interesting part: the straightest, most old-fashioned songwriting of the weekend is what got promoted fastest.
Closing the festival, with a catalogue built for exactly this — a field of people who know every word. There is not much to say about the booking that the name does not say.

Florida Georgia Line reunite for a late-night set — their first Stagecoach appearance since 2018, and the announcement most people reacted to. They are on the Mustang Stage alongside Sean Paul and Flo Rida, with Diplo's HonkyTonk running as usual.
The wider lineup is not trying to be a country festival in the narrow sense:
One detail worth noticing: Journey were cut by the same evacuation that took Riley Green's set in 2026. Both are back in 2027, which is either a coincidence or a promoter with a long memory.
Every pass covers all three days. General Admission starts at $549 for Tier 1, rising to $599 at Tier 2 — and it goes up again as each tier sells, so the price you see is the cheapest it will be. Adding the shuttle takes it to $669 or $719 depending on tier.
Above that, the Rhinestone Saloon is $974 and adds shaded seating near the Mane Stage and the Rose Garden Saloon. Corral reserved seating runs from $1,199 to $2,299 by row, with the standing pit at $1,899. VIP packages and camping are sold separately.
If you are staying anywhere in the valley and not camping, the shuttle combo is usually the upgrade worth having. Getting in and out of the polo grounds is the hardest part of the weekend, and no amount of shaded seating fixes it.
Prices and availability move; the official passes page is the only version that is current.

This is the part that changes your plans. Coachella runs April 9 to 11 and April 16 to 18, 2027 at the same venue, and Stagecoach is the weekend straight after. The Empire Polo Club hosts three festival weekends in seventeen days, and the valley absorbs three sets of visitors back to back.
Practically, that means April is not a month with a busy weekend in it. Houses, hotels and rental cars go early across the whole valley, and the closest properties go first. If you are coming for Stagecoach and planning to sort accommodation in the new year, you will be choosing from what is left after two Coachella weekends have been through.
The Empire Polo Club is in Indio, on the eastern side of the valley. That geography does most of the deciding for you.
A house rather than a hotel room makes a particular kind of sense for this weekend. Three days in the sun is recovery as much as it is music, and a pool, a kitchen and your own washing machine do more for the Sunday than another night in a room with a kettle. It also solves the group problem: eight people in one house splits better than four hotel rooms, and everyone comes back to the same place at two in the morning.
Friday, April 23 to Sunday, April 25, 2027, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Riley Green on Friday, Zach Top on Saturday, Garth Brooks on Sunday.
They are playing a late-night Stagecoach set, their first appearance at the festival since 2018.

No, but it is close. Coachella runs April 9 to 11 and April 16 to 18, 2027 at the same venue, with Stagecoach the following weekend.
Camp if you want to be in it the whole time and never drive. Stay off-site if air conditioning, a real bed and a quiet morning matter — which, by the Sunday, they usually do.
Around thirty miles, which is thirty to forty-five minutes without festival traffic and longer with it.
