Desert Luxury Estates (“DLE,” “we,” “us”) is a vacation rental management company serving Palm Springs and the greater Coachella Valley, California. This policy describes what information we collect from guests and how we use it.
When you inquire about or book a stay, we collect the information needed to manage your reservation: your name, email address, phone number, reservation details, and payment information (handled by our payment processor). We also keep records of communications with you, including emails and text messages, so we can support you during your stay.
We use your information to manage reservations, rental agreements, and payments; to send you communications about your booking and stay; to provide guest support; and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — such as our payment processor and our messaging provider — and only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We take precautions to protect your information. Where we collect sensitive information such as payment data, it is encrypted and transmitted securely. Only employees who need information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
We keep reservation records as long as needed for business and legal purposes and take reasonable measures to protect them.
The Desert Luxury Estates guest messaging program sends SMS text messages to guests with a confirmed reservation, covering their stay: check-in details, property access codes (gate/door/WiFi), checkout reminders, and trip support, including replies to questions the guest texts us. Messaging is transactional and tied to the guest’s own reservation; we do not send marketing texts.
Consent is collected during booking. The guest provides their mobile number and signs the Desert Luxury Estates rental agreement, which includes the following:
